Finally, we have swell that has some size to it! I'm calling it waist to almost chin high but the on-shore wind is making it choppy. There are quick sections & drops to be had but you will need to be selective on the wave that you paddle into. Cooler air temps but water temp are in the low 70's. Small again today. Knee high at best. Winds are light ESE early and will be all day.

Pensacola, FL:

Good morning. We're baaaacccck! And the SURF... Sad to say but it's pretty much flat. Surf is running ankle to shin high at best. As always the surf at the Pier is a little bigger. The pier was running shin with a knee set ever so often (the pictures were the biggest sets I saw.) Super nasty morning out here today. It's raining/lightning at Pensacola Beach and the wind is light offshore. Not the conditions that I was hoping for unfortunately. On a side note, Magicseaweed is showing the surf building throughout the day. I hope they are right. We will give you another report at midday today. Have a great back to school morning.

You might be able to get a bump or two early this morning but that will probably be gone before 10am. Have fun and be safe.

Sorry for posting the report late but the for this moment is that Corolla is about to get a nasty thunderstorm. Last night, the wind turned and blew off the ocean. This created wind chop waste high surf. But until the thunderstorms move through the area, you should stay off the beach. NOTE: WATCH OUR STAND-UP PADDLE BOARD VIDEO. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Small again today. Knee to thigh high at best. N winds early will switch to the NW later in the day.
