Good afternoon! It is a beautiful day here on Pensacola Beach. It may be hot but the water is fine! It is flat though...but not for long...well hopefully because Ernesto is tracking so far south now...ugh. The winds are coming out of the South at 8 mph causing for a chop on the Gulf of Mexico. We will keep our eyes on the Gulf. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Good afternoon. It is a beautiful day out here at Pensacola Beach. The surf is totally flat. It is the lake of Mexico today. The wind is blowing out of the East at 4-6 mph causing semi glassy conditions. It's a great day to take out the SUP (stand up paddleboard.) The models are still showing us getting surf from Ernesto. It could be really good so keep your fingers crossed. We will give you another report this afternoon. Have a great Sunday!

Good morning! It is a beautiful morning here on Pensacola Beach. The surf is flat . The winds are light NE at 2-3 mph causing for glassy, flat conditions. These offshore winds have it nice and cool out here on the beach. It is a great day to bike, run or take a flat water paddle on your standup paddleboard (SUP). The Invest 91 or whatever they call it, should come across Florida today and go back into the Gulf of Mexico. We should get some small swell from it out of the Southeast by late Monday or Tuesday. Right after that we should be seeing some Eduardo swell. Ah man, finally I can see a light at the end of this flatness!!

Cape Hatteras, NC:

a 'little' more than yesterday with light onshore wind. wind forecast to be S at 10 to 15 mph.

New York:

choppy conditions in the waist to stomach high range. Winds are SSW and will be all day. Should build throuhgout the day. Looking like W winds fro tommorrow. May be worth a check early before the winds come up.

Corolla, NC:

Better News! The surf has improved since yesterday. Less wind and a little bigger swell but it is all relative. We are watching 2 tropical systems in the Caribbean.
