Pensacola, FL:
Good morning! It is absolutely beautiful out here on Pensacola Beach. The water is crystal clear! The skies are blue and full of big puffy white clouds. The wind is coming out of the ESE at 5-6 mph causing for just a slight ripple on the water. I could see all the way to the bottom when I walked out midway on the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier. There is no surf to speak of though. Not a line, a hope, a prayer for right now, however there is hope for surf in a few days and I can deal with that. You have a great Saturday, and we will update you later on today!

Corolla, NC:
You can tell by the pictures I just took that it is looking a little 'sketchy'. The tide is on the high side and the OBX has a wind that is out of the SE. Our hope is that the tide will drop and the sand bars will start working. Good news is that the heat index drop and it is a great beach day. Wave height at this moment is ankle slapper to knee but once the tide drops, we might have a knee cap long board wave: NOTE: WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY TO COROLLA PROPER ON ALL RENTALS EQUIPMENT. STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDS, SURF BOARDS, BIKES, BODY BOARDS AND SKIM BOARDS. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning! It was a rainy morning here on Pensacola Beach, now it is dry. The people for the Bushwacker 5K are getting ready for this morning's race. The surf is flat. The wind is SSE @ 7-8 mph causing for flat conditions. There is a surface chop, so if you are flat water paddling today, it will be a little bit of a bumpy ride on the Gulf of Mexico side. There could be a little push on Monday out of the SE, but that is three days out. We will keep our eyes on the Gulf and ALL the activity we are going to have for the next few days.

Pensacola, FL:
Good afternoon! It's a pretty day out here at Pensacola Beach. Looks like tons of rain towards Pensacola and towards I-10 but the beach is still nice. The surf is flat. I didn't see anything that could be ridden. The winds are blowing out of the SW at 6-7 mph causing for semi choppy conditions. Great day to take out the SUP. I am not seeing any chance of surf in the next couple of days but I hope I am wrong. Ernesto has 50 mph winds and is expected to be a hurricane sometime on Monday. The models have it going a little more West than what it was showing yesterday not that that really means anything this far out. It looks like it could be in the Gulf as early as Wednesday so we may have some surf coming our way next week. We will give you a sunrise report as always. Have a great FRIDAY!!!
