Pensacola, FL:
Good afternoon! It is a rainy day here on Pensacola Beach...when they said it was a 30% chance of rain...this is not what I had in mind. There is actually some little, tiny, offshore surf. It is shin to knee high. They are short rides but they are there. I saw a little bump at the Cross, but it is definitely rideable and desperation longboardable this afternoon. You could even SUP it however, I did hear some thunder and I wouldn't want to be standing up on the water when it is rumbling like that. Go get wet because unless that storm comes our way...the reports for future surf are depressing.

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning! It is a beautiful day out here on Pensacola Beach. It is hot and humid, already 93 degrees out here. Whew! The rain clouds look like they are building up for our regular afternoon showers. The surf isn't building up to anything. It is crystal clear, and there are shin high bumps breaking at the Cross. The Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier had the biggest waves coming in. They were knee high if you wait on them. If you are super desperate to get wet and go surf, I would go to the pier. You can definitely flat water SUP (standup paddleboard). The SW wind blowing at 5-6 mph is putting just a little surface chop on the Gulf of Mexico. I will have you a report later this afternoon. Have a good day!

The tide needs to go out! I took these pictures at 7:00AM in North Corolla. We hardly have any wind and ankle slapper to knee cap high waves. Once the tide drops you might be able to go long boarding. Watch your heat index. NOTE: DON'T FORGET THE COROLLA SURF SHOP LONGBOARD INVITATIONAL ON AUGUST 18TH. WINNER GETS A BRAND NEW MURRAY ROSS 9 0”. JUST EMAIL US AT info@corllasurfshop.com

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning! It is a pretty morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The full moon is out and is just gorgeous! The surf is shin high. The wind is SW at 5-6 mph causing for small, weak conditions. The surf is supposed to not do much today. There isn't much hope for future surf in the forecasts and wave models I have been looking at. For now, I am keeping an eye on the activity to the south of us. Maybe something will come from those to areas of interest.

Small and choppy. Knee to waist high at best. Winds are SW early and will be all day. Should continue to build over the next few days.
