the wind is kicking butt today out of the SSW, supposed to come around NW but it looks like it won't be until late in the day probably right about dark.

The wind is perfect and the waves are not there as usual.

tide is way to high and the surf is very small. maybe rideable with a very short rides but that's about it. The wind is light southerly but forecast to pick up out of the west. Yesterday water was about 48.

Very peaky inconsistent mixed swell,mostly SE. The waves are short especially on the high tide. Should improve later if the swell doesn't drop out with the tide. Yesterday I felt like the water had dropped into the uppper 40's, see no reason why that would have changed.

Pretty mixed up swell with too high of a tide this am. Seems to mostly a SE swell. The wind is NNW so it is semi clean. I hear the south side is about the same thing. Might be a little cleaner but I haven't seen it. Water temp seemed about 50 putting my hand in it.

water temps have dropped, giving a reading of 49 at the tower means it's no warmer on the beach.

As hard as the wind blew yesterday it's hard to believe the surf got smaller.

Raining and blowing NE at 25-35. I wasn't getting out of the vehicle. I've seen that ocean.

pretty inconsistent in the shoulder high to a little overhead range. lots of current and the occasional good wave. the tide was super low this morning so it might improve a bit with more water if the north wind doesn't kill it. water and air in the low 50's.
