Good afternoon surfers! No surf at all today! The winds are now out of the SW @ 6 mph. It's crystal clear! When you are SUPing it looks like you are paddling over an aquarium! It's a beautiful day at the beach even though there is NO surf. I am holding onto the hope that we will have some bigger surf to report this weekend!!! Have a great day!
It's a beautiful day out here at pensacola beach. The sun is shining and its only 79 degrees. I saw lots of SUP's out on the water today. If you have a chance come out and enjoy it. The surf as you probably know is flat. I didn't see any type of waves breaking anywhere. The wind is 5 mph out of the SE. The winds are supposed to stay light all day. One wind report shows it is supposed to be light offshore winds all day and another is showing light onshore winds for the rest of the day. Either way it is gorgeous day at Pensacola beach. We will give you an evening update later today.
It was small almost flat yesterday but today is a different story. Sections on the outside are waist plus to chest on the outside. Forget the inside! This morning it is choppy & trashed out. The wind in Corolla is coming out of the ENE at 20 mph+. The only sections that are opening up are very quick lefts and the paddle out will be 120 yards w/a side shore current running north to south. Wind chill feels like the mid 40's with these conditions. NOTE: WE JUST GOT THE BEATER BOARD. YOU CAN TEST OUR DEMO. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
Good morning surfers. We have 4-5 mph offshore winds giving us flat conditions. There are some ankle snappers breaking but that's it. It would be a really fun day to take the SUP out. The winds are supposed to stay offshore all day today so its doubtful that we will have any surf but its a great day to come out to the beach. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday. We will give you a noon update later today.
Fun waves at the point this morning, the swell still pumpin up!. Two boats in route to Salinas Grandes. The conditions are good; light offshore winds, sunny day and no one out.
