Santa Teresa, CR:
Surf was waist to chest high today, 2-4 ft waves, nice, clean and open down at the beach break. Got spoiled earlier, about 10am, by the onshore wind, that didn’t hold till noon as it was doing the past days. Anyway, as it came it was off earlier too, and the surf got really fun on the afternoon session! The first thick clouds showed up, after months without rain, probably this weekend? Bigger SW groundswell starts slowly building in tomorrow, although we wont feel it much till Friday, get ready!

Santa Teresa, CR:
Fading SW swell, waves were in the 3-5 ft range. Nice open peaks worked all day long, although it got choppy at noon with the characteristic onshore wind that blows at that time of the day. The beach break worked perfect, and some guys even tried luck at some of the reefs, Suck Rock being one of them, without much success. It gets smaller tomorrow as the swell continues fading, but look at the beach break, cause direction is still very good!

Corolla, NC:
Corolla still has a strong wind but the direction has switched from NE to SSW. This change in wind direction has caused wave height to drop.( waist high on the faces) There are a few quick sections to be had but the challenge will be to stay in one place. Great air temps: 70 degrees and H2O is hanging in there at 55 degrees. NOTE: WE ARE EXPECTING A BUSY EASTER. THE COROLLA SURF SCHOOL IS OPEN AS WELL AS OUR RENTAL PROGRAM. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
