Corolla, NC:

High Tide: 11:18AM: Low Tide 5:36PM: Corolla has a change in wind speed & direction with the end result being smaller cleaner surf then Sunday. Wind direction clock around from the ENE to the WNW. I took the pictures up at the Horse Fence right at high tide. Although the air temp is 42 degrees, wind chill will feel like the mid 30's. You will need at least a 4/3 w/boots, gloves & hood even a 5/4/3 wouldn't be a bad idea. NOTE: YES! WE WILL BE OPEN THIS WEEKEND W/ ALL OF OUR CLOTHES AT 40% OFF INCLUDING WINTER FLEECE! more choppy and closed out than not. wind is NE this AM but the forecast calls for NW going W. probably improve as the day goes on and the tide drops. water temp is in the mid 40's.

North Hampton, NH:

High Tide:10:24AM: Low Tide 4:36PM: Last night the wind picked up and a cold front moved into the OBX. Air temps dropped down into the mid 20's. Corolla finally got real winter weather! the wind is blowing NW at 30 to 40 mph. wind chill is 8*. the wind is blowing the waves back as soon as they start to break. high tide around 10 AM. water temp in the 40's.

North Hampton, NH:

Corolla, NC:

High Tide: 9:30AM: Low Tide: 3:48PM: The “X” is the wind. At this posting the wind is out of the North-Northwest. We have an outgoing tide and swell direction is East/Northeast. This equation usually means that the breaks down south might be better then the breaks in Corolla. But the surf is only knee cap to thigh high and choppy surface conditions.
