I'm posting the report later then I should but I was on the beach taking pics of Jeff, Jason & Andy. Corolla has very mild air temps. A light off-shore wind & waist to nose high surf. Cape Hatteras, NC:
Surf is in the stomach to chest high range today. It has a south lump running across it. Wind is SW at about 15-20. Forecast calls for SW at 15-20kts becoming W 10-15 kts. High tide was at 7:53 this morning.

It looks waist high on sets and clean. The rides are short but look fun. Its a couple minutes between sets. Hopefully it will increase with the tide.

Isaac is from a small fishing village in Nicaragua and works with his friend Elton fixing surfboards for guests at a resort in the area. Occasionally, when visiting surfers break a board, they leave the board for the guys to keep. Very rarely are they given boards that are in tact. Isaac and Elton put these boards back together, making them their own and ride them until they break again. This is how they continue to surf and improve their surfing. so far it looks like things are coming togather for southwest surf on friday and during the night the winds switch to the northwest for surf on saturday,if everything comes togather as forcast.will keep you updated...ronin.

Good News!! No wind, clean swell and decent water (for the winter) make today a surf able day. I just took these pictures where the Corolla Surf School gives there surf lessons. starting late thursday the wind be from the south and increaseing over night.by friday morning the surf and the winds will be from the southsouthwest ever slowly turning to the west and by night be from the northwest and by saturday morning winds will be from the northeast,but very light so saturday could turn out to be a nice round of surf if the forcast doesn't change...ronin

Super foggy this morning. Surf appears to be in the head high range with a slight bump on it. Wind is NE at about 5 kts. Forecast calls for N wind at 5-10 this morning becoming W then SW this afternoon 10-15 kts. Did the best I could with the pictures.
