Strong north swell with a mega current. Set waves are breaking on the outer bar. Inside every now and then a rideable wave but all over the place with no lineups. I would imagine the H20 is around 40 maybe below maybe a little above.
There is a small mushy swell this am on the high tide. It is rideable but the winds are forecast to increase out of the NE. Water temp mid 40's. Sorry no pics. I tried but the site is not allowing me to do it this morning.
the surf is waist high and the tide is super high so it not a great combo but if you can bare the 40 degree water and 34 degrees outside there are a few to be had. Sorry to say the we are going to take a break for a couple weeks from the report we will resume the report on March 1st
Very windy still, NW , mix of sideshore and offshore. Unorganized swell. Very Cold. I'd be surprised if water temps were even up in the 40's probably 30's
surprisingly small today, i'd guess no bigger than chest high but it might be bigger north of the jetties. looks like too much water even though low tide was around 5 this morning. wind forecast is for west winds at 25 to 35 mph.
light east winds this morning increasing to 15 to 20 mph by mid day as a low moves off south carolina and moves quickly northeast. sunny early but expect rain this afternoon. the water at diamond light tower is 44* this morning, so it's no warmer than that on the beach.
The surf looks like it could be alot of fun with a fuller tide. With a NNW 5 to 10 mph it has a lump going through it right now but with a higher tide it could work itself out.Tides low @ around 9:00 and high around 3:00
the surf is a little unorganized but it is dead low tide but maybe it will all come together with a higher tide.Low tide: 6:45am and High tide 12:45Winds WNW @ 20-25
Waist to stomach high, maybe bigger on the set. Long lines with a NE wind at 15 - 20 mph. Lot of sections in the wave and super bumpy. Low tide: 6 High tide: Noon.
