A great fall day in Corolla. But just like the last 4 days, the wind continues to blow off the ocean making surface conditions choppy & wind blow. Big ugly and choppy. I have just received two reports one from Cocoa and one from Melbourne. Big but washer machine like conditions. This is very dangerous even for the experienced surfer. Please be safe.

more northeast wind chop for today. there's probably some head high waves but it's just sloppy and drifty. wind forecast NE at 15 to 20 mph. low tide around 12:30 PM. water temp upper 60's. sorry, camera battery died before i got my closeups.

SPI Jetties:

Mushy outside and dumpy inside. Lots of wind

Clearwater Beach, FL:

its very flat here,but the east coast looks like victory at sea with surf running 10 to 12ft.with these strong east winds at 25 to 30mph over there its choppy and blown out.

Corolla, NC:

Another Incredible Fall Day in Corolla! The wind is currently blowing off the ocean ENE at 15 to 17mph. This is chopping up the ocean surface and making for bumpy conditions. over all it looks a little smaller than yesterday and not quite as choppy but still not very good. wind forecast to be NE at 10 to 15 mph increasing this afternoon. low tide around 11:30. water temp upper 60's.
