I just took these pictures (of the ocean). My best “guesstimate” is that the tide needs to go out before you can go long boarding. The ocean surface is very glassy and at this posting there is hardly any wind. Good news is that we have the threat of sunshine. One pic is the crew surfing yesterday. NOTE: WE ARE SELLING OFF ALL OF OUR RENTAL EQUIPMENT. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP :pictures of the crew are from yesterday...

Waist high with some bigger sets. Winds are light SE early but will increase later in the day. Still some fun little waves coming in at the right tide/spot. Similar conditions for the next few days.
the mosquitoes are so bad today, even on the beach, that i could barely stand there to take pictures. the tide was really high and surf somewhat jumbled up. wind forecast to increase out of the S at 10 to 15 mph.

North Central, NI:
The conditions have improved this morning as we have chest to head high + surf with a few sets a couple feet overhead on the peak. Form is fair to sometimes good and trying to get better. Some right hand barrels opening up and spitting outback at the little wedge, they look fun. The wind was calm super early and now has gone offshore which is helping. The weather seems nicer today with clearer skies and the offshore breeze...thanks for looking.
