Even though the weather decided to be cold and gray all who attended the Fosters Belmar Pro 2011 were in for a treat all weekend, with great surfing and live musical performances. I captured some of the Monster Longboard Pro competition on my handy iPhone. Unfortunately due to the distance I decided to zoom into the video to better see the surfers, the trade off is a touch blurry. Soundtrack is by Echo Movement performing live at the event.

North Central, NI:
better late than never...wave size at rib to head high with plus sets, fair to good form with a slight offshore breeze til mid / late morning then light onshore for the rest of the day and 1 or 2 surfing outback. Weather is hot with sun and cloud mix and it has been storming most every night, thanks for the look!

Corolla, NC:
Corolla has a smaller ocean this morning, so your paddle out should be a little easier then yesterday. Wave height is in the waist to lower chest high range and the wind is coming out of the South-southeast. NOTE THE COROLLA SURF SCHOOL IS GIVING LESSONS TO 9 FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROGRAM THANKS TO THE HELP OF COROLLA LIGHT RESORTS. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Brevard County, FL:
Still some waves rolling in not much size but definetly worth going out. Knee to waist all day and it looks like the same for the next few days. Have fun and be safe.
