Good News! The ocean has cleaned up & the Corolla Surf School is open today! We still have size and the wind is coming off the ocean but the sections have definition. The other good news is that Currituck County will be cleaning debris off the shore. We are getting back normal!!! Oceanside, CA:

Storm persists. Yesterday 8-10 wave sets hit the beach. At night during peak low tide some surfers rode waves north of pier.

New York:

Waist high with some bigger sets. Winds are light ENE early but will switch to the E later in the day. Looking like waves for the next week or so. Late next week looking really good. We'll keep you posted.

NE winds again today, choppy conditions, rideable. The last 2 pics were taken the morning after Irene passed by.

Brevard County, FL:

Should be fun in the right spot, nothing epic but worth the paddle out. Have fun and be safe.
