Nantasket:

Fun southern hemi swell, bigger than the one a month ago. Boston buoy is only .1 or so on the energy but the swell wrapped around the Cape nicely. Long shortboard rides on the best sets. Perhaps some SE windswell. Lots of reflections made a nice, friendly elevator rip back out after a ride. Southern ocean Gods delivered again! ASP Chopu is over, Kelly Slater won.rnHurricane Katia is revving up, I hope it doesn't hit us, but gives us good surf. Lucky we survived Irene.

Corolla, NC:

I took these pictures @ 9:00AM. We have the size but we also have a strong ENE wind that is choppy up the surface! I'm also watching another TD off the coast of Africa. Fall Surf is here!! I also posted some of our crazier pics from the last 4 days!!
