very windy here this morning with northwinds blowing 25 to 30 mph. it is supposed to back off some this afternoon. the current and waves are sweeping down the beach sideways as a result of the wind. the south side is very small.

this surf report is from frisco and hatteras village. the wind is straight offshore. low tide was around 6 with the next high tide around noon. the south side is clean but the shape is so-so. could improve with the tide. wind is forecast to be north around 15 to 25mph.
