Good afternoon from SD - Strong WNW swell has filled in and peaked overnight with well overhead surf showing all along the beach. The pier is closed. PLA event is on; there are a few colored singlets out the back somewhere. Light onshore starting to build. Sunny and mild. Air temp: 67F. Water temp: 60F.

East End:

Slight texture with light windsrnbut thats past now that they picked up out of the west

Flat but oh man, what a Killer Day on the Island. Surf will build overnight and should be thigh to waist, choppy but rideable in the morning and then clean up after lunch when it goes offshore!! Enjoy the views from the Island today...
