Pacifica - Linda Mar: 3-4ft surf with some 5ft sets. Grey skies. The wind is staying light onshore so although it's not clean at least it isn't blown out. Some open shoulders between the crumble on the inside and closeouts on the outside. OK for grey summer surf.

uptown:

too close to shore up here... not even ridable. went to midtown for incoming tide and was real good before it got too high.

THERE ARE SOME SMALL RIDEABLE WAVES COMING IN THIS MORNING... IT'S ABOUT 1 TO 1.5 FT MAYBE A LITTLE BIGGER ON THE BETTER SETS. THE WIND IS LIGHT OUT OF THE WEST MAKING SOME CLEAN CONDITIONS. THERE IS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM SITTING OFF THE COAST OF GEORGIA SO THE WIND SHOULD STAY WESTERLY FOR TODAY. STAY TUNED...

7/18/08 – Kind of boring out there – 1 to 2 feet and barely breaking here at a near high tide. Again, she might reveal a little something at a lower tide but nothing to get excited about. Worth keeping an eye on that disturbance off the Florida coast – it’s probably coming right at us, so maybe some windswell. Have a great day and pics from Bogue Inlet Pier (BIP).

LOOKING KIND OF FUN, TIDE IS INCOMING, SHOULDE BE BUILDING TODAY INTO TOMORROW WITH CHOPPY CONDITIONS, WATCH THE THE WINDS SWITCH TOMORROW INTO SUNDAY FOR MUCH BETTER CONDITIONS AS THE LOW MOVES NORTH.
