Good afternoon. There is still little surf, only knee high now. The winds are coming out of the SSE at 9 mph causing for some texture on the Gulf. Surf should start to build late tomorrow and have something rideable by Monday..maybe! The tide is going out for the rest of the day! Have a great Saturday!!

Good afternoon! The surf is up and so is the wind. It is coming out of the SSE at 10-12 mph causing for some chop on the Gulf. The surf is still coming in sets, so you will have to wait for waves. It is thigh to hip high with soooooooometimes a bigger set coming through. This swell is taking its sweet time getting here...however it wasn't forecast to hit until tomorrow. Maybe I am just anxious for some surf. The winds are supposed to stay like it is now through Thursday morning when it is forecast to go offshore. Things always change and will keep our eyes on the Gulf! Have a great Tuesday.

Good morning. We have some surf! Whoohoo! It's running solid knee to thigh high with an occasional hip set. The wind is only blowing out of the ESE at 2-3 mph causing for glassy conditions. Go catch some of these glassy waves! High tide is at 8:30 this morning and low tide is at 6:24 this afternoon. Looks like this is the start of a sweet swell. As of right now we should have surf through Friday and maybe even Saturday. Friday looks like the best day so far. The models are predicting light winds all morning on Friday. Could be Awesome! Good morning! It is a beautiful morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The surf is kind of up. It is only about shin to knee high, coming in definite sets. I have been watching them on the cam pulse through. The tide is close to high. High tide is at 8:30 this morning and will be going out for the rest of the day. The West wind is going to be on it all day from 5-10 mph. Right now it is out of the WSW at 8 mph causing for texture on the Gulf. If you want to teach a kid to surf or go SUP, this morning would be a good one to. The winds are supposed to come more out of the South by sunset. Good morning. We still have some small surf. It's running solid knee high with some bigger sets at the Pier. The wind is blowing out of the NW at 4-5 mph causing for glassy conditions. If you have a SUP or a big longboard go catch some waves. High tide is at 8:36 this morning and low tide is at 6:24 this afternoon. The winds are supposed to switch out of the South as the day goes on but the wind models are showing lighter winds all morning and then increasing to 12-14 mph later this afternoon. The surf models changed once again over night. They are showing surf on Wednesday and staying up through Friday. Friday is showing offshore. Could be fun if it holds up. Good afternoon! It is finally a beautiful day out here on Pensacola Beach. For it being such a gloomy start, it turned out to be a beautiful day! The surf is up. It is thigh, hip and waist high. For those of you that missed the Innerlight Surf Jam, it was fun! There were a lot of different boards to try which was really cool! Andrew Leal of Cloudfire Surfboards makes some beautiful boards!! The winds have backed off to 8-9 mph out of the SSE. It is still causing for some drifty, choppiness but not as bad as it has been the last five days!!! Sorry about the pics...I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see very well...hahaha. You get the picture (get it) of how the waves look though...kinda crumby! Have a great Saturday!

Good morning. We have surf and it's SATURDAY! Whoohoo! The surf is running Solid waist high with rib sets. Ever so often a bigger one comes through. The wind is blowing out of the SSE at 12 mph at the Pier. The form looks way better than yesterday morning. It's still choppy with the wind but you don't have to wear a wetsuit so go surf! We have a neap tide today. The models are showing the surf dropping later this afternoon but the wind is supposed to stay on it so I hope they are wrong. The models are also showing it dropping to ankle high on Sunday (doubt it) and then coming back up on Monday. Either way it looks like we have more surf in our future so go buy some wax. Last day before hurricane season starts...insane! We have surf!! It is running chest, shoulder, head high plus! The winds are 16-17 mph out of the SSE according to our weather station on the pier. I would go find shelter because the drift looks wild. The rides guys were getting were great though. Some of the drops were well overhead, but it looked like it took some work. High tide peaks out at around three. It looks like today could be the last day for sizable surf, however I just don't understand because the winds are staying out of the ESE and SE for the next couple of days. Well, we will keep our eyes on the surf! Go surf!!

Good early afternoon! I had some time...and our cam is down for the moment, so I shot some photos. The surf is still chest, shoulder, head+ high. The winds are coming out of the SE at 15-17 mph causing for seriously drifty conditions. It is still fun and the pier is giving some sort of shelter today. Go surf!

Good morning! We have surf once again. However I think the wind is getting the best of it now. The surf is running solid rib to chest with bigger sets. The wind is blowing out of the SE at 19 mph causing for choppy conditions. Try to find some shelter if you have the opportunity today. Low tide was at 1:23 this morning and high tide is at 3:03 this afternoon. Looks like we should have surf through Saturday but these winds are supposed to stay pretty hard the whole time unfortunately. The surf should build as the day goes on. But we have surf and we don't have to wear a wetsuit. Low tide was at 12:52 this morning and high tide is at 2:34 this afternoon. Looks like we have surf through Friday so enjoy this awesomeness. Good afternoon! We have surf!! It is running thigh, hip and waist high. The winds, live from the pier, are coming out of the SE at 11 mph causing for choppy conditions. Surf is still on the increase. The tide will be going out the rest of our daylight hours. It's surf...so go surf! Don't forget we do have our webcam that looks at the West side of the pier up. You can see it on your mobile device if you jump through a few hoops. Android users can download a flash viewing browser (for free) called Photon Browser. This will allow you to see the cam at any time. We found that that works. We don't have Iphones so...we don't know what will work on your phones. Good morning! It is a beautiful Memorial Day morning. Before you start up the grill or load the car for your day of fun, take some moments and remember why we have this day. High tide is at 12:48 this afternoon. The winds right now are out of the SE at 8 mph. This reading was taken at the pier. We will keep our eyes on the surf! And update as it changes.
