MUCH LIKE THE PAST FEW DAYS BUT A LITTLE BIGGER AT REPORT TIME.. WE HAVE HIGH TIDE CONDITIONS WITH KNEE TO THIGH HIGH WAVES.. THE TIDE WILL BE OUTGOING FOR MOST OF THE DAY AND THE WIND WILL SWITCH TO SE SO IF YOUR LOOKING TO GET WET NOW MIGHT BE THE BEST TIME..BRING THE SMALL WAVE EQUIPMENT IF YOUR GOING TO PADDLE OUT.. CHECK BACK FOR THE AFTERNOON UPDATE..
Pretty small surf, but with near glassy conditions there are a handful of longboards out there having fun on some small lines. Seems to be a little mushy and weak so I don't think anything but a longboard will do.
6/3/08 – Not much to it at all this morning at just about dead high tide. A very weak, 1 to 2 feet wave with some texture to it compliments of a light SE breeze. Have a great day - pics from Bogue Inlet Pier this morning.
With a 6 second wind swell a negative tide at 5 am going to high at 11:30 your best bet today is to bring your dog and take him for a walk. The wind is going to howl the next few days. Aye yi yi will spring ever end.
Comments: Near flat conditions, maybe knee high at best. Winds are light west early but will switch to the SW later in the day. Looks like more waves for Thur. We'll keep you posted
THE SURF IS SMALL AND WEAK AT REPORT TIME...IT'S ABOUT 1 FT AND SEMI CLEAN WITH A LIGHT EAST WIND ON IT. THE TIDE WILL BE LOW MOST OF THE DAY SO THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF BEACH FOR HANGING OUT.. WE HAD A SMALL PUSH AT HIGH TIDE LAST NIGHT SO IT MAY BE WORTH A CHECK CLOSER TO HIGH TIDE AT 7:50 PM..
tide too full when I checked at 7 am...maybe with a lower tide, there'd be something to ride...wind should pick up out of the north today...waves possible by wednesday...water warmed a bit overnight, but nasty jellies everywhere
