THE SURF IS SMALL AND WEAK AT REPORT TIME...IT'S ABOUT 1 FT AND SEMI CLEAN WITH A LIGHT EAST WIND ON IT. THE TIDE WILL BE LOW MOST OF THE DAY SO THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF BEACH FOR HANGING OUT.. WE HAD A SMALL PUSH AT HIGH TIDE LAST NIGHT SO IT MAY BE WORTH A CHECK CLOSER TO HIGH TIDE AT 7:50 PM..

tide too full when I checked at 7 am...maybe with a lower tide, there'd be something to ride...wind should pick up out of the north today...waves possible by wednesday...water warmed a bit overnight, but nasty jellies everywhere

Not too much to talk about today. Corners do pop up on occasion. Great day for training. The water is extremely clean and not that cold. High tide will swamp the shape as it goes into the positive Monday morning blues

40th Street:

Brief lines, if you can find one...waves are a little mushy. Every 5-10 minutes I see a set come through that is a little bigger, but still breaking weak. Nothing like yesterdays barrels.

Emerald Isle, NC:

6/2/08 – Just a lazy, glassy 2-footer remaining after all the wind this weekend. It looks a little fat right now, but might improve a little bit once the tide drops if she sticks around long enough. Operative word is maybe… Have a great day - pics from Bogue Inlet Pier this morning.

Comments:  Waist high with some bigger sets.  Winds are NW early and will go SW later in the day.  Looks like some fun little waves this morning.
