A dramatic out of control ocean! Wave height is well overhead, out-going tide and rough seas. I just took these pictures on the north. The wind is WNW and the swell direction is ESE. This equation is holding the sections up & making for some great pictures. But conditions are very rough & there is no reason to go in the surf until these conditions back off! NOTE: WE WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW THROUGH SUNDAY! GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
There is plenty of swell, the wind is offshore, it is breaking a bit on the outer bar, the inside bar is jumbled with no line ups. There is the occasional section.
The CARIBBEAN OCEAN this year has been nothing shore of EPIC! TRAVEL to the right SPOT at the right time & you can get an EPIC SCORE!! Thank you for watching NUB NATION for the WIN!!! - Love Ben

As the NE braces for a late winter snow storm, Corolla is just seeing a cold wind out of the NNE blowing at 25 mph and very choppy waist to stomach high surf. On the beach, there is a wind chill in the low 30’s. This not as cold as the weekend. Air temp is a little warmer then Sat/Sun. If you go on the beach in Corolla just beware of a lot of sand that’s being moved around. The cross over ramps feel like the summer. Just helped to pull out a truck loaded with Rutger student caught in soft sand. That’s what we do around here! GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
