Yes, the pictures I just took at my home break are telling the story. We currently have a very mild air temp, waist to stomach high surf and a light off-shore wind ( at this posting). H2O did move up a couple of degrees: 48 degrees Fahrenheit…if you have a chance, go surfing! NOTE: WE WILL BE OPEN THIS SATURDAY, GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

MOVIE: "Little Victories" - A California Surf Film

"Little Victories" is a 30-minute surf film by Perry Gershkow about venturing all along the California coastline in search of wave variety, terrain, and creating little victories along the way. Perry, an action sports filmmaker from Marin county, gathered his buds and hit the California coast starting in Santa Cruz heading north. The crew scored at eight different surf spots along the way ending their surf adventure with some serious tube time in San Francisco. Surfers include: Austin Smith-Ford, Tyler Payne, Colin Dwyer, Bryce Adams, Chris Williams, Michael Taras, Teddy Miller, Matt Myers, Kyle Thiermann, Jason "Ratboy" Collins, Morgan Albertoli, Josh Scofield, Trevor Bloom, Ian Glover, Jordan Stern and Josh Ryan.

Corolla is enjoying a reprieve from winter. Air temps are in the mid-50’s with a light wind out of the SWS. The surf small, only knee cap high and we currently have an outgoing tide. Water temp is 47 degrees Fahrenheit but with a very mild air temp, wind chill should not be an issue: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla is currently experiencing a fall day in January. Air temps are in the 50’s, wind is out of the SSW and wave height is thigh high. The tide is flipping at this posting. This is a nice break from the 20 degree weather we had lest weekend. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
