Episode 1 brought us across the country Colorado in search of a late season blizzard. We arrived in Denver and were greeted with temps in the 80's as we enjoyed the city and made our way into the mountains. However, things would quickly change as we found ourselves beneath 5 feet of snow in the days that would follow.
Loveland Ski Area is home miles of open terrain and some of the best backwoods riding Colorado has to offer. This blizzard blasted Loveland with feet upon feet of fresh powder and set the boys up for an incredible late season session that we will never forget.

Decent winter surf with very mild weather. I took these pics a dead high, so you might want to wait a couple of hours. The OBX has a light drizzle which is helping to reduce wind speed. Wave height is thigh to waist but the lower tide will make conditions more do able. Air temp is in the 60’s and H20 is still in the aging in the low 50’s: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
Corolla currently is enjoying mild air temps, rain and thigh high surf-able sections. The wind is currently off-shore but the rain is helping to reduce wind speed, hence the cleaner sections. A longer board, a 3/2 mm, boots and gloves should do the trick: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
January 1st, 2017 started off with perfectly flat surf. I just took these pictures. Managed to catch a flock of seagulls waiting for rock fish to escape from the Chesapeake Bay. Air & water temps are matching each other at 49 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s just Lake Atlantic: NOTE: HAPPY NEWS YEARS, GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
