The cold weather system that we had yesterday, continues today. The wind is of the ocean at 20 mph plus leaving us with a wind chill in the low 30’s. Wave height is around waist to chest high. Water temps have finally dropped below the 50 degree mark. Basically, choppy & cold w/a side shore current running north to south: NOTE: YES, WE WILL BE OPEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH 1/1/2017. NE wind and swell

Corolla, NC:

The weather yesterday opened up a corridor & allowed the colder air to move into the region. The wind is off the ocean, ocean surface is choppy and wave height is waist to stomach high. The Surf is in the shoulder high range and no real shape. The wind and the swell are both out of the north so there is tons of current.
