Fall weather and surf arrived this morning! Corolla had thunderstorm all last night. This caused a drop in air pressure and a switched in wind direction. Wave height is currently stomach to chest (on the faces). The change in systems helped to precipitate a drop in air temps. Wind direction is off-shore & out the NWN at 15 to 17 miles per hour. I recommend going surfing this AM in case the wind starts to clock around to the ENE: WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER…..9/11
The side-shore wind that was blowing last evening died off this AM. Wave height is thigh plus and very longboardable. I took these pictures at 8:00 AM. I would check out your favorite sand bar and consider surfing this AM: NOTE: WE ARE SELLING OFF OUR RENTAL FLEET OF SUP’s, BIKES AND SURFBOARDS. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
