The wind has backed off, is offshore and (at this AM posting) wave height is waist high. Corolla has a very clean longboard wave with both rights and lefts. NOTE: THE REDS FLAGS ARE DOWN SO THE COROLLA SURF SCHOOL IS OPEN. WE TEACH SURFING & STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDING. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

The wind has turned from yesterday and is currently blowing out of the SW. This is giving us open sections. Wave height on the face is neck high: a high performance wave. We have an outgoing tide. Low is at 12:00 Noon. GO SURFING: PSA: IF THE LIFEGUARDS HAVE RED FLAGS UP, THAT MEANS THE OBX IS STILL HAVING RIP CURRENTS. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Really nice swell but has a southerly wind crossing it up. Still rideable but if the wind Blows much more I don't know if it can take it
