Go Surfing! I’m not saying the surf “awesome”. I’m saying we have the best conditions I have seen in a week. Corolla has a light ENE on-shore, waist high semi clean sections and tropical water temp. The wind has switched from the ENE and is now blowing out of the East. Wave height has increased to waist to almost chest. But the sections are closing out. Your board of choice should be very responsive in order to surf out of a ‘close-out’. Great water temp at 77 degrees Fahrenheit. At this posting the wind is out of the ENE blowing at 17 to 20 mph. This has created wind choppy and bumpy surface conditions. Same old/same old: gotta wait for the tide to drop. Wave height is only knee cap high but H2O moved up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. NOTE: WE RENT HIGH END SKIM BOARDS : ZAP & WAVE ZONE, PLUS YOU CAN APPLY RENT AGAINST PURCHASE. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

lighthouse is small and deep with the high tide. frisco has swell. shape is fair. NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts to 20 kt this morning.
