Corolla, NC:

I spent most of the AM just getting ice/sleet off of our deck. What the pictures don’t show is how cold it is: currently we are a 28 degrees Fahrenheit w/a wind chill in the mid-single digits. Wave height is around nose high but surface conditions are choppy. Th north wind is creating a side-shore current running north to south. NOTE: WE GOT SOME OF 2014 SUNGLASSES MARKED DOWN TO 50% OFF. Yesterday’s surf is a distant memory! March is still acting like a pissed off Lion. I just took these pictures at the horse fence. Current conditions are choppy waist high out of control surf and a dropping air. NOTE: TODAY IS THE 1ST DAY OF THE SEASON.
