Good morning. The surf is running ankle high with maybe a shin high wave on the right sandbar but the right side of the pier is flat. The wind is blowing out of the South at 2-4 mph and the air temperature is 80 degrees. The winds are supposed to stay light this morning but they are supposed to be hard this afternoon. High tide is a t 8:12 this morning and low tide is at 7:34 this evening. We are not expecting the surf to build today but we will keep our eyes on it in case it does. Have a great Tuesday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Yesterday was a blast and the decent surf should continue into today. Wave height is thigh to waist but we do have an on-shore wind blowing at 9 to 12 mph. The tide just flipped, so Corolla will have an incoming tide all through the day. The on-shore wind is helping cool air temps and is helping to keep water temps in the low 70's. I would recommend checking out your favorite break right now. The wind is off-shore and we have waist to chest high swell. I don't know how long the wind is going to stay in this direction. Plus H2O is still in the High 60's low 70's. You can wax up that high performance board. NOTE: WE DO NOT RENT PLASTIC BOARDS. Sunday July 20, 2014. Surf was very good today in Playa Santa Teresa. Waves were holding on the shoulder to head high range, regardless the SSW swell should be starting to fade. Clean conditions in the morning and lots of very fun rides at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary Hotel.
