What an incredible Corolla beach day plus we got some surf. The East wind is choppy the surface up but is enough of a section to catch and fun. The other good news: H2O is in the 70's. Wave height is waist to maybe chest. Good morning. The surf is basically flat. There is a small ankle high wave that breaks ever so often. It looks like a great morning for a paddle if you have a SUP. The wind is blowing out of the East at 4-6 mph and the air temperature is 78 degrees. We have a neap tide again today. We are not expecting the surf to build today but have a great Friday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Santa Teresa, CR:

Friday July 18, 2014. Very good surfing morning in Playa Santa Teresa. Waves were on the head to slightly overhead size as SSW swell peaked last night. Conditions were very nice and clean in the early morning and there were some very fun rides at the point break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary's beach access. Late morning surf got blown out by an early onshore wind and water got choppy until the afternoon when it settled down.

New York:

Fine clean waves this morning. Chest high with some bigger sets and clean

Corolla, NC:

o more rain & storms!! The sun is out & today should be a great beach day! Wave height is thigh to waist. At this moment, the wind is light and not effecting surface conditions.
