The culprit that is causing the surf to go flat is a high pressure system that is generating a steady off-shore wind. Wave height is ankle to maybe a weak knee cap. I'm surprised that water temps is still in the 60's. Today's board of choice is a SUP. NOTE: WE HAVE A BRAND NEW FLEET OF BIKES. WE WILL DELIVERY RIGHT TO YOUR COTTAGE FOR FREE. Good morning. We have some small surf out here this morning. It's running shin high with maybe a knee high set ever so often. The wind is blowing out of the ENE at 4 mph and the air temperature is 81 degrees. We have a neap tide today. If you have a SUP it looks like a great morning to paddle around on or it would be a great day to teach a kid how to surf. Have a great Thursday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Wednesday June 18, 2014. Surf was very fun this morning in Santa Teresa beach. Waves were on the waist to chest high range as old swell quickly fades away. Conditions were nice and glassy and there were lots of long rides rolling down at the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. Smaller and mushier in the afternoon with the high tide was better on a longboard or more buoyant board.

Another beautiful day in Corolla. It will be a hot one. Currently, we have an incoming tide and a weak knee cap high wave. The faces have a nice shape but the size will be dependent on the tide. Great water temp: 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Get a longboard and a rash guard.
