The great surf we have had for the last 4 days has left us. The culprit is the strong SW wind that has knocked the juice out of the sections. But there is a longboard wave. The Red Flags have been dropped, so everyone can hit the water today. Corolla's small sandbar breaks will be tide dependent. NOTE: PLEASE BOOK YOUR SURF LESSON BEFORE YOU COME DOWN TO THE BEACH. DUE TO THE SNOW MAKE UP DAYS, WE ARE EXPECTING A BUSY SUMMER BETWEEN 6/16 THROUGH 9/4. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
like a dummy i forgot to grab my camera when i went to the beach, but you're not missing anything. very windy, SW wind in the forecast at 20 to 25 kts.
The good surf is continuing!! Wave height has dropped since yesterday. Monday's faces where head plus. At this moment, I'm calling it waist to chest on the faces. The wind continues to be light and off-shore and glassy conditions at the 9:00AM posting: NOTE: GO SURF, EAT PIZZA AT COSMO'S PIZZA AND LISTEN TO SOULone.
The pictures tell the story. Almost head high and an off-shore wind with clean very making able sections. However, due to the size, for the safety of small kids, the Red Flags are up. GO SURFING!!!
