Tom hurt his ankle and grabbed the camera to film an afternoon skim session by Dave Bracht, Luke Meacci and Adam Meacci. Filmed and edited by Tom Bracht.
At this posting, Corolla is the victim of a high tide and a steady off-shore wind. Wave height is knee cap and it should be longboardable once the tide goes out. But right it is just a little too small: TOMORROW NIGHT: THE GRILL ROOM. SOULone. ENTER A RAFFLE TO WIN A FREE SURFBOARD WITH THE PROFITS GOING TOWARDS THE WILDHORSE FUND. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
Good morning. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! Unfortunately the surf is flat. The wind is blowing out of the SSW at 9 mph and the air temperature is 79 degrees. High tide is at 10:07 this morning and low tide is at 8:51 tonight. We are not expecting the surf to build today but the surf models are showing a possible small wave tomorrow afternoon. Have a great Tuesday and we will give you another surf report at midday.
What a day! As soon as I finish this report, I'm going surfing. H2O is in the mid 60's. Wave height is waist to almost chest on the faces. Clean sections at this posting but watch the wind. Current wind direction is off-shore but some sites are reporting a wind out of the North. COROLLA SURF SHOP WANTS TO THANKS ALL OF MEN & WOMEN WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY.
