Good morning! We still have surf out here on Pensacola Beach. It has dropped from yesterday only running thigh to hip high. There are bigger peaks coming through, but you have to wait on them and find the right sandbar. The winds are coming out of the ESE at 8-10 mph causing for some chop. High tide will be at 9:54 this morning and the tide will go out until 7:31 this evening. The surf should build back up today. We may even have a period of light winds some time this afternoon. We will keep our eyes on the Gulf and will update as things change. Have a great Monday.

Aaron's First Surf Lesson

Aaron is like any other 6 year old boy. He's a multi athlete and loves to have fun. Three few weeks ago, his family found out he has an incredibly rare brain tumor that is both aggressive and cancerous. He'll need to go through intensive Chemotherapy this upcoming week and will be unable to do any normal activities a 6 year old would do over the summer. So Aaron had a bucket list he needed to get finished before his Chemotherapy this week and learning to surf was at the top. With a last minute call, Tommy Grimes of Island Industries pulled together the right resources and people to make it happen. Yesterday was real flat! Wave height today is ankle to maybe a knee cap high (as the tide moves in). The SSW wind that started the morning off has turned into a ESE wind (side-shore). Great Day on the beach. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY FROM THE CREW AT COROLLA SURF SHOP

Good morning and Happy Mothers Day! I am truly blessed with the mothers that I have in my life and I thank God for them daily. So take some time and tell them how awesome they really are today. AND... We have some surf. It's running waist to rib high with some bigger sets. The wind is blowing out of the ESE at 6-8 mph and the air temperature is 75 degrees. High tide is at 9:46 this morning and low tide is at 6:51 tonight. The winds are supposed to stay hard out of the SE all day so go catch some waves if you can. Have a GREAT Mothers Day and we will update the report later today.
