Good morning. It's Saturday! Unfortunately the surf is flat. The wind is blowing out of the NNW at 0-2 mph causing for glassy conditions and the air temperature is 70 degrees. We have a neap tide today. The surf isn't supposed to build today but we should have surf starting on Monday and it should last through Thursday. Whoohoo. I need Surf! If you have a SUP this morning would be a great time for a paddle. Have a great Saturday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Santa Teresa, CR:

Saturday, April 26th, 2014. Great surfing day today at Playa Santa Teresa! Waves were well overhead to double overhead size, and conditions clean and glassy in the morning. Epic session at Suck Rock, the point break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. Some good open waves rolled up all the way to the beach. The beach break was very good too at dawn and perhaps will get better tomorrow when the swell starts fading away and the shorter periods move in. Ah, the nationals were held at Playa Carmen today, surfers came in from all Costa Rica to compete for another date of the Circuito Nacional. Hope they had fun, they waves were too good to go watch...

Good morning. The surf is flat. The wind is blowing out of the West at 6-8 mph and the air temperature is 70 degrees. We have a neap tide today and tomorrow. We are not expecting the surf to build today but it looks like we are in for a nice swell starting Monday. So get your boards ready for that. It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day so go outside and enjoy it if you can. Have a great Friday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Friday, April 25th, 2014. Surf was good today in Santa Teresa, however not as good as everybody was expecting. The new SSW swell is filling in slowly, and waves didn't looked bigger until the late afternoon, reaching a few feet overhead on the sporadic bigger sets. Morning conditions were semi clean and the beach break upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary was a bit closing out. There were some fun rides at Playa Hermosa and at Playa Carmen in the morning. Sunset session was fun at the point break upfront our surf camp, even with the choppy conditions. Everybody is going to bed early tonight as there are big expectations for the surf at dawn!
