the wind has enough W in the SW but the swell is to small. It is rideable though

Santa Teresa, CR:

Saturday March 15th 2014. Very good surf in Santa Teresa. Clean and glassy conditions in the morning and some very good rides at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. Low tide was mushy on the outside and standing quite steep at the sand bar in the shore break. Waves were on the head to slightly overhead size range. Afternoon session was not promising at 4pm, but the surf got much better at 5pm when the wind stopped. Almost no one out and perfect A-frames at the beach break! The surf went on till late and when the sun was gone, the waves got illuminated by a huge moon and a lot of fluorescence in the water.

Pensacola, FL:

Good afternoon! We have another gorgeous day out here on Pensacola Beach. It is windy though. They are coming out of the SE at 9-10 mph. It is causing for a little bit of surf to come through. The surf has built to a little shin to knee high with maybe some bigger, thigh high, sets coming through. It should continue to keep building today and into tomorrow. Looks like the seas are pretty big for this swell too! Yahooooooo! So have a great Friday and for those going into spring break…welcome to spring!!

We a but of a cold spell last night: air temps dropped down onto the low 30's. This wave height is thigh to waist. The yesterday's ENE has turned 75 to 90 degrees and is now an ESE wind blowing around 17 mph. Wind chill is in the low 30's but the sun is out and your could go longboarding. But you will need a at least a 4/3mm with boots, gloves and a hood. NOTE: WE JUST TOOK DELIVERY ON RIP CURL WETSUITS WHICH INCLUDE 4/3MM. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
