A story about my life and a disease I had when I was 12 years old. A good friend and Awesome Director/ DP Guillaume Tremblay helped to make this happen.

Yesterday was ugly, today is a different story! The sun is out, the swell is thigh high, rideable and the wind is off-shore. Surface conditions are much cleaner then yesterday. I took these pictures out in front of my home break right at low tide. I'm feeling optimistic about our summer surf breaks: NOTE: WE ARE CURRENTLY INTERVIEWING FOR SUMMER SALES POSITIONS IN THE SHOP: info@corolla surfshop.com
When the storms come from the SouthWest, and the Winds howl for hours on end, and the rain pours down nonstop, we are greeted afterwards with reeling Righthand barrels. Take a look inside the belly of a Southswell on Cape Hatteras, and see what a typical day full of barrels is like around here.
From the moody morning session to the beautiful evening session... this is what living here is all about.
Good morning! It is a beautiful morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The sun is out!! The sky is clear!! There is no surf though. It is the Lake of Mexico right now. It is 37° at the beach right now. Brrrrr! The winds are out of the North at 12-13 mph causing for these offshore, cold conditions. The surf looks to come up on Sunday! So we will keep our eyes on the Gulf. Low tide is at 7:07 this morning and high tide will be at 9:59 pm. Have a great day!OH! And Happy birthday to THE most amazing dude on this planet!! Josh you rock! Happy Birthday!!
Thursday February 27th 2014. Surf was fair this morning at Santa teresa beach. Waves getting smaller as the old swell fades out were in the knee to waist high range. Conditions were clean and glassy and there were some very fun rides at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary. afternoon session wasn't very good, tide went out too fast and conditions were not very clean. Most waves were just closing out in the shorebreak. Swell keeps fading tomorrow, but a new mid-period SSW fills in on the weekend!
Oh 45° temps, I despise you! Give me back my spring time feel!! It is a gray day out here on Pensacola Beach. It is 45° out here and the surf is flaaaaaaaat. It is the Lake of Mexico today. The winds are out of the NNE at 8-12 mph causing for lake-like, flat conditions. There could be some small bump on Friday but the models keeps showing and then not showing it. It would only be big board surf and the winds are supposed to be on it pretty hard. We are still looking at Monday for our next swell. We will keep our eyes on the Gulf and report when it changes!! Have a great Wednesday!PS!! It's Josh's birthday tomorrow! Tell him happy birthday!!
At this AM posting: rain + sleet + snow = mush? The surf conditions haven't changed since yesterday. Wave height is around knee to thigh and there is a steady wind out of the north. Surface conditions are semi=choppy and the wind chill is in the low 30's Fahrenheit: THE COROLLA SURF SHOP CONSTRUCTION CREW IS TRYING TO GET THE STORE OPEN FOR THIS WEEKEND! GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
