Corolla, NC:
Freakin cold: at this posting, Corolla has a wind chill of 0 degrees Fahrenheit. We had about 2" of snow last night but after the storm moved through then air temps took a big drop. Writing orders for the summer, chopping firewood and trying to keep the pipes from freezing. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Pensacola, FL:
Good afternoon! It is drop-dead gorgeous on Pensacola Beach today. The water is crystal clear and there is not a cloud in the sky!! The winds are coming out of the NE at 1 mph causing for glassy, flatness on the Gulf of Mexico. It would be a great day for a flat water paddle! The air temp is a bit chilly though at 39 degrees. Brrrrrr! Enjoy the pics and hopefully Mediacom will have our webcam up soon!

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning. The surf is totally flat. The wind is blowing out of the North at 10-12 mph and the air temp is 29 degrees. We have a neap tide today. I am not seeing a whole lot of surf in our future. It looks like our next chance for surf could be Saturday afternoon and it may be another West swell. Whoohoo. Have a great Wednesday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Santa Teresa, CR:
This is Blue Surf Adventures Santa Teresa Surf report, located at the gorgeous beach of Santa Teresa in the pacific coast of Costa Rica.Surf was good today in Santa Teresa. Waves were on the knee to waist high and conditions fairly clean. Morning session was better and there were some nice small waves rolling at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary, a gorgeous boutique and surf destination hotel and billabong sponsored surf camp. New SW and NW swell combo will start moving in in the next few days. Till then, swell continues to fade and waves will get smaller.

January 12th had an abundant amount of hype in NJ. The surf community in Jersey had high hopes for this day and they got they're hopes up for a good reason. Conditions were close to perfection. But the one downfall was the temperature. With the water and air temp both in the 30's, this would be a day many wouldn't forget. Music by Led Zeppelin "Heartbreaker" All Footage from Deal, NJ

New York:

Waist high with some bigger sets.  Clean conditions as winds are NNE early.  Winds will go NE later in the day.  Should continue to build throughout the day and overnight as a low moves up the coast. Could see some really good clean waves for tomorrow morning.  Shop is fully stocked with winter surfing needs.  Call the shop today and get Free Shipping and 10% off any winter surf gear.

Pensacola, FL:
Good midday! It is a windy day out here on Pensacola Beach. It is quite chilly as the winds are blowing out of the NW at 12-16 mph. This is causing for some shin to knee high waves to break at the pier. They are struggling to break because the wind is so hard. There are some skimmable waves at the pier as evidenced by the dude skimming in the pics. I am getting reports of bigger surf to the East of the pier so if you need some salt water therapy...go east young man/woman. It is chilly so drop by Waterboyz and pick up some booties or gloves before you go out! Have a great Tuesday.

You might to think about getting on it right now because the weather (another Arctic Express Cold Front) might be headed our way. At this posting, there is a waist to stomach high wave and an off-shore wind. Swell direction is out of the East-Northeast. Mild air temps at this moment but that is going to change. NOTE: WE ARE TAKING RESERVATION FOR THIS SUMMER'S SURF SCHOOL. YOU CAN BOOK YOUR LESSONS ON-LINE. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
