Good morning. We have some small ankle high waves breaking on the shallow sandbars. The wind is blowing out of the North at 11-13 mph and the air temperature at the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier is 20.3 degrees. Man that is cooooold. The models are showing surf tomorrow and after tomorrow the models are showing surf starting Friday and lasting through the weekend. So get your boards ready and your wetsuits and accessories to keep you warm because it's going to be cold this next swell. Have an awesome Tuesday and we will give you another surf report at midday.
This is Blue Surf Adventures Santa Teresa Surf report, located at the gorgeous beach of Santa Teresa in the pacific coast of Costa Rica.Surf was good today in Santa Teresa. Waves were on the knee to waist high, with some bigger sets coming in during the outgoing tide in the morning. Strong offshore wind and glassy water, perfect conditions for the beach break to get hollow and steep. Some very good waves rolled in at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary, a gorgeous boutique and surf destination hotel and billabong sponsored surf camp. Afternoon surf was a lot mushier and perhaps smaller but still nicely shaped and pretty fun.
Heading out for a freezing surf mid january in NJ.

This is the warm spell before the big freeze! At this moment air temps are still in the high 50's Fahrenheit. We have a SSW wind and an out-going tide. Wave height is thigh to waist with swell out of the ESE. Surface conditions are clean but you might wait for the tide to go out. NOTE: THE COROLLA SURF SHOP BUYING TEAM WILL BE HEADING DOWN TO THE SURF EXPO. GARY, COROLA SURF SHOP
Good midday!! It is so freaking cccccccold!!!! It is 35° out here on Pensacola Beach. It has only come up two or three degrees since the sun has come out. The winds are still out of the NNW at 12-16 mph gusting up to 26 mph. It is causing for FLAT conditions. There isn't going to be any change in the Gulf today. So stay warm. Eat some soup. Have some hot cocoa. Anything that is warm and anti-cold is great for today...and tonight....and tomorrow. I hate cold weather. Have a great day!!
Winds are out of the SW 15-20mph, so there is a slight bump in the wave. The swell is coming more easterly, so it's causing a lot more closeouts than lines to ride.
Good morning. It is a frigid morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The air temp right now is 32°, and the winds are coming out of the NNW at 16-19 mph causing for cold, offshore conditions. The surf is flat. There is an ankle high wave breaking, but I'm sure there is no one crazy enough to brave this cold weather. Brrrrrrr! There will be no real change in the tide today as it is neap tide. Wednesday could have some kind of surf, but it looks like we will get another swell this weekend. The water is going to be cold!! So, go to Waterboyz and get you some gloves and booties. Your extremities will thank you. Have a great Monday!
