Good midday! The winds have gone offshore. The surf is running knee to thigh high with sometimes a bigger peak coming through. The winds are out of the NNW at 9 mph causing for offshore conditions. The winds are supposed to get stronger as the day progresses. So if you have some time and a longboard...go get some little waves! Have a great Thursday!

Corolla, NC:

I just took these pictures at high tide this AM. We have small clean swell and a glassy ocean. But the knee-cap high waves need much lower tide to even break. Corolla has a light rain and air temp in the mid-40's at this posting: HAPPY NEW YEAR! COROLLA SURF SHOP

Cape Hatteras, NC:

The swell looks to have alot of East in it, so it has short lines and peaky not all that much shape. The winds are lite. Really soft with it almost being high tide.

Pensacola, FL:

Good morning. The surf is running knee high with thigh sets ever so often. The wind is blowing out of the East at 7-8 mph. Low tide is at 9:32 this morning and high tide is going to be at 11:27 tonight. The winds are supposed to switch out of the NNW really hard around midday so go surf this morning if you want to catch some waves. It looks like we have some surf on Saturday and maybe even Sunday morning if we are lucky, Have an awesome Thursday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Santa Teresa, CR:

This is Blue Surf Adventures surf school report, located at the gorgeous beach of Santa Teresa in the pacific coast of Costa Rica.Good surf today in Santa Teresa. Very hollow in the early mornig, waves were waist to shoulder high with some bigger sets. Some really good spitting barrels at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary, a gorgeous boutique and surf destination hotel and billabong sponsored surf camp. Hide tide came in in the afternoon, and waves were open and a bit mushy.
