Good morning. The surf is totally flat unfortunately. The wind is blowing out of the North at 8-11 mph and the air temperature is 48 degrees at the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier. Low tide is at 7:58 this morning and high tide is at 9:47 tonight. We are not expecting the surf to build today but it looks like we may have some surf on Thursday and then again on Saturday and maybe even Sunday. Whoohoo! I heard a lot of people talk about how cold their feet got this last swell and if that was you go check out Waterboyz. They have tons of booties in stock along with hoods, gloves, and wetsuits. Have a great New Years Eve and be careful tonight. We will give you another surf report later today.
Mild winter weather and a wind out of the WSW means that Corolla has a longboard with glassy surface conditions and a clean thigh to waist high wave. We have a crowded December beach with some kids jumping into 48 degree Fahrenheit water. NOTE: COROLLA SURF SHOP WILL BE OPEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND INCLUDING 1/1/2014 WITH 20% TO 40% OFF. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
Good morning! We are winding down 2013 with a quickness! It is a beautiful morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The sun is up. The sky is clear. However the surf has gone away. You could probably SUP or very very large longboard what I am seeing breaking but it is very small. I would call the waves shin high at best. The winds are coming out of the ENE at 3 mph causing for glassy conditions. Low tide is in just a few minutes at 7:04 and the tide will be coming in for the rest of the day. It looks like Saturday may be our next chance for surf. So de-thaw from Saturday and Sunday and get ready for some more surf next weekend. Have a great Monday.
This is Blue Surf Adventures Costa Rica Surf School report, located at the gorgeous beach of Santa Teresa in the pacific coast of Costa Rica.Surf was good today in Santa Teresa. Waves were in the waist to chest high range and getting smaller as old SSW swell starts to fade. Conditions were nice and clean this morning and waves were a bit hollow due to low tide. Still surf was fun at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary, a gorgeous boutique and surf destination hotel and billabong sponsored surf camp.
