Last night, I went to Kitty Hawk Pier to watch the Moon rise and found swell almost breaking at the end of the pier. We have swell this AM but the tide is going to need to drop. Wave height should be waist to stomach once the tide drops. (At this posting) the wind is off-shore WSW. NOTE: COROLLA SURF SHOP WILL BE OPEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH 1/2/2014, GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Pensacola, FL:

Good morning. The surf is running shin to knee high. The wind is blowing out of the East at 4-6 mph and the air temperature is 54 degrees. Low tide is at 9:49 and high tide is at 11:17 tonight. The surf may build a little bit today but we should have some waist high surf starting tomorrow and the models are showing surf through Monday. Sunday evening could be really good... Have an awesome Thursday and we will give you another surf report at midday.

Santa Teresa, CR:

This is Blue Surf Adventures surf school report, located at the gorgeous beach of Santa Teresa in the pacific coast of Costa Rica.Good surf today in Santa Teresa. Waves getting smaller as old SSW swell fades out, were in the waist to chest high range. Conditions a bit messy today, with more closeouts than open waves. Still there were many fun rides at the peak upfront Blue Surf Sanctuary, a gorgeous boutique and surf destination hotel and billabong sponsored surf camp. Morning was hollow and a few barrels rolled at the beach break. Afternoon was mushy, but still fun on a longboard or a more buoyant board.
