    Does anyone have any advice on Surfing NC near Corolla? I am going for a week in a month and I dont longboard. Are all the beaches the same or is there somewhere with a bit more punch near by? Why don't horses have socks for their horse shoes? Graci and Shaka.

    I've cruised the beach in Corova and no, not so much anywhere special. I have always found a hair steeper of a wave at the north end of the beach near the fence, but nothing special that I would consider the "spot" to be. Above advice is the correct answer. Make the trip south.
