NY on sat

    Do you think it will stay semi clean for lo tide sesh around 1 PM or should I try to get there earlier?

    looks like NW winds all day, so you should be good. where are you surfing?

    I usually go to either East or West of Lincoln. I may try Point Lookout or Lido one of these days, but parking is closer to the beach from the boulevards behind the boardwalk. Also, with buildings around, it's easier to change since it blocks the wind.

    I noticed that you give Rockaway clean conditions. Would I be better of going as far east as I can in Long Beach?

    BTW: I really like this site a lot and most of all your contributions to the bulletin boards. It's really AWESOME!

    Rockaway faces more SW, where as Long Beach faces more S, so the NW winds are more directly offshore at Rockaway. But, it looks like all of western NY is going to be clean for the morning hours with maybe a little bit of sideshore texture picking up for the Long Beach area (direct south facers) for the late day.
