Sounds like you have some ideas for some improvements to Myrtle Waves. There is some extra land near Wild Water and Waves in Surfside.

    the price tag is.....

    8 million. + inflation = 12.5 million

BnC already did the feasibility study on the addition five years ago. couldn't show the return on investment. i like the way you are thinking though.

Burroughs and Chapin is loaded. Maybe they can write it of as a tax break. We need to come up with some non-profit org name for the place like Wave Depression Rehabilitation Center to make it work. I pledge to buy a season pass if they put it in :)

Much like in Aussie, if we had a butt load of former surfers in city council, they would consider doing something like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I32YYoH2Ig0

here is one in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruZsqqYGIf0&feature=related

But then would it be jam packed every single day..There would still be times when it probably wouldn't have a huge crowd factor. But, days where it is knee to thigh like today, would probably be chest + there, depending on the depth they build it at and how they would build it.
