What do you mean? It's firing solid chest to shoulder here in NJ......I just got out the water.
The life guards have been pulling people out of the water all day.

Not sure where you're at. Today was much bigger than waist high.

i have no idea where you have been surfing/sponging, but Ocean City, MD has been going off since thursday. Get on it in the mornings, before they blackball us. It's solid chest-head high on sets, and yesterday we had a few outside BOMBS blasting overhead. mind you, it was only 2 :p but still, pretty epic. My only advice for this swell: don't go to the inlet - it was a few feet smaller there when i was out. k time to go paddle out, hope everyone is scoring!!

If you didn't see any waves yesterday, then cross the street and try surfing in the ocean. Waves were great all day until the tide came in. Even then they still had size, but they were close to shore.

Interesting as I was out all day on Sat and it was firing... That being said, we were out at Assateague WAY down the 4X4 access beach (not disclosing exact location) and the break was perfect for the swell -- sets were definitely overhead and breaking well with little wind and clean faces. We had guys begging us to come up the beach to pick them up as town was only chest\shoulder after seeing the pictures of our break... 7 of us enjoyed it to ourselves all day.

Go south of Belmar area. Today was about chest. Saturday/Sunday were head+ sets.
