Rangers were not good at alll. Woulda helped if Callahan was in the lineup, but oh well. next year will hopefully be better.

Lived in Canada (Kingston, Ont) for 3 years on an Army Exchange Program. Still cant tell ya the difference between a puck & hockey stick. Guess I would vote for the Caps since I live here, but they are not on the list. Can tell you this, Canucks grow up playing the sport like we would basketball, etc. It was great, I could beat any of them in B-Ball & I'm the guy that was the last to be picked here. The best sport they have is "Curling"- honest to Goodness, it is one of most fun games I have ever played. Requires no skill & you can do it drunk as a skunk.

BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also my sympathizing post about john maclean i made in this thread when he was fires over a year ago,and me saying he was scapegoated. screw that guy. great player, terrible coach. the fact that the devils turned it around within 10 games with jacques lemaire back, and went from worst team in the league last years first half, and best in the second half i now see john maclean was an idiot, and not fit to coach this team. loved him as a player, but the guy was a TOOL of a coach. it felt good to clinch a playoff spot by killing the team he is now assistant coach with the hurricanes beating them 5-0. the fact pete deboer coached the worst team in the conference last year florida panthers, and has taken the devils to about where they are most seasons says last year john maclean ruined our entire season.
also flyers fans. i wish you guys luck the next two games. as much as i'm stoked on the devils the inconsistency with goal droughts, and other things with us i really don't wanna play the penguins in the first round. even though we've beat up on them a couple times this season the last two games were atrocious. so please win a game at least out of the next two! or lose in OT! wouldn't hate to see the devils lose to detroit tomorrow night either. i don't know if the devils are ready for a series with pittsburgh, but if we get past the first round i think it will restore some confidence to face whoever else makes it. i'm just happy to be back in the playoffs man. as a devils fan for over 20 years this was the 3rd time not seeing a playoff team last year, and first time in 14 years. only thing worse for me as a fan was the whole 04/05 season being cancelled due to lockout.
