New NOAA Data

    What makes you think this is new?
    I've been using the ETOPO2 data for years.

    Is there somewhere, where they say its been updated?
    ETOPO1 is actually a newer dataset, I believe.

    "The new online data viewer compiles sea floor data from the near shore to the deep blue, including the latest high-resolution bathymetric (sea bottom) data collected by NOAA's Office of Coast Survey primarily to support nautical charting."

    Of cours not new, New,..but some nice new interactive widgets for the everyone not knowing of this "new" Resource

    okay... ya, there are plenty of gaps and issues with this data, so any upgrade in the actual data is very helpful for us wave modellers.

    mr. swellinfo? i am an earth and environmental sciences major (bachelor of science, minor in marine bio, and environmental studies). Is there anyway you guys would do an internship soon? is there place on the website for an application? if so i would be very interested in it.
