Im heading to ocean city md next week, where do you think the best spot is and what are the conditions usually like? Should I ride a groveler, performance shortboard or something else?

best spot is 30 minutes outside of town at the Assateague Federal Park
    conditions are usually crowded
you should ride your groveler if its small
you should ride your performance shortboard if its good
you should ride something else between 10 am. and 6 pm. because the guards wont let you surf.

You should go to the secret spot. It's 10 miles in the direction from which you're coming

You can surf there anytime. Just not in the 500 yard guarded area between 10:00am to 5:00 pm

    yes!
I will be at assateague tmorrow
it will be big but a mess - and kinda cold - bring a springsuit or a 3'2
the guards only patrol a short section - don't go there
i drive my truck in the sand until i find good break
u need oversand permit for that but u can just walk in. drive as far as u can on paved road then park and then walk out to beach - u'll see what i mean
    i drive a light brown/gold yukon...

With all the high-tech wave forecasting going on in the world, why do you even need to ask? Not to mention cameras all along the beaches from New England to Florida.
